Hello again on this Monday with another episode of Week in OSINT. Again some interesting news, links and tips for everybody to start their OSINT-y week.
OSINTtechniques shared a great website that shows all live tweets that contain location data on a world map. Simply click on a region and it opens a search query in Twitter with the appropriate location and radius filled in.

Sign up for #cryptosint : CryptOsint is a news round-up dedicated to covering who is using blockchain technology and how they’re doing it. Think of it as the intersection between open source investigations and the crypto world. #osint https://t.co/Jf0Fwefr26

Brenna Smith started a newsletter that will send out weekly news about crypto currencies. The first instalment goes over terrorism and the use of Telegram to find funding, the new currency Libra and a list of links to other news outlets. This is an awesome initiative and I’m keen on receiving an email next week!

The 7th edition of my #OSINT book is now available. Completely rewritten 550+ pages. I send a sincere Thank You to the entire OSINT community for support, research, ideas, and letting me still play in this game. Full details available at https://t.co/AJlvuACSlN. pic.twitter.com/KeqG84EpZW

Last week Michael Bazzell already tweeted it, his new book was nearly ready for production! Over half of the book was rewritten and updated to give more information on techniques and not so much about external tools. Ready to build your own virtual machine, dive into source code and manually investigate how to retrieve data, instead of relying on ever changing landscape of tools? Pre-order your copy and treat yourself to a lovely Christmas present!

Tip: Just change the .com to the TLD of your ‘local’ Amazon
An extremely simple tip from OSINTtechniques this week. Do you need to search for a LinkedIn account but you don’t want to log in? Simply browse to the people search page and start looking for people.

And if you are looking for companies, you can try the following:

And for jobs, for some social engineering, there is also:

And we have another list of links by OsintStash! This time there are multiple links about DNS and Whois, subdomains, Cloudflare, trackers, analytics and so on. So click on the link to the Twitter thread and enjoy some time going over all the links and sites… With caution of course 😊
